ENJOY THE FREE PUBLIC SQUARE AT CARDIFF CASTLE

Cardiff Castle is not currently open as a tourist attraction; however, visitors to the city centre are welcome to come in and enjoy the open air space of the Castle green, free of charge.

If you’re planning a trip in to Cardiff and would like a lovely spot to relax after hitting the shops, then please use the tables and chairs laid out on the beautiful setting of the Castle’s lawn.

Please remember to be considerate of other visitors, maintain the appropriate social distancing and use the hand sanitising facilities available at every opportunity.

We would kindly ask anybody to refrain from visiting if you have had any symptoms of illness (cough, sniffles, sore throat or fever), or have had contact with anybody who has been tested for COVID-19, in the last 14 days.
